Description : A small, very stable, insubmersible catamaran that is ideal for learning to sail at sea.
Activity : Provided by qualified instructors, the courses are based on the theoretical and practical aspects recommended by the French sailing federation (Fédération Française de Voile). The level of skill achieved is entered in the federation passport issued at the end of the course. Emphasis is placed on the pleasures of crewing on an exciting boat and on the acquisition of the skills that will gradually allow the children to become independent.

Boats : Catsy (10-foot catamaran).
Who : Children between the ages of 8 and 12.
Where : At sea.
Organisation :
- 1 instructor for a maximum of 5 catamarans.
- 2 students per boat.
- 1 lesson lasts approx. 2 hours and includes equipping and preparing the boat, explanations from the instructor and practice on the water. Children are given as much time on the water as possible.
Equipment : Lifejacket and wetsuit provided by the water sports centre.
Our advice :
- On very sunny days in summer, wear sunglasses and sunblock.
- On cool overcast days, wear a windcheater.
- Wear water shoes or booties.
Safety : The instructor has a safety boat and VHF radio.
